- Why is the main tool free?
- Because it costs us nothing to run. The scanner is JavaScript in your tab, so the marginal cost of the millionth clean is zero. Charging for it would mean sending your text to a server we would then have to pay for, and it would break the one promise that makes this tool worth using.
- What am I paying for on a paid plan?
- Work that genuinely happens on our machines: parsing and rewriting file formats, running a batch job, and serving the API with a rate limit we have to hold open for you.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from the billing page. The plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
